About Aurora

Aurora Ascher is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling fantasy & paranormal romance author. She loves misunderstood monsters, redeemable anti-heroes, and epic happily-ever-afters.

A piano player since she was five years old, Aurora didn’t expect to become a writer until her first book popped into her head one day and wouldn’t leave her alone until she wrote it down. She hasn’t stopped since.

When not on tour with her hip-hop-prog band, Aurora sits in her tiny office and writes like a fiend. A woman of many creative pursuits, she is also a digital artist and enjoys bringing her characters to life through another medium. She’s a total coffee snob and has invested a great deal of time into perfecting her latte art. 

Before settling in Montreal with her husband, Aurora spent several years travelling in Asia, Australia and her own huge country. Though she loves the city, the mountains and lakes of British Columbia where she grew up will always be her homeland.
